Now this tale didn't happen just yesterday, nor the day before but long, long ago...
It was one of those Zip-a-dee-doo-dah days-- the kind of day where you can't open your mouth without a song jumpin' right out...
This tale happened once upon a time- not your time cor yet my time...
but one time...
It was a time when...
The critters were closer to the folks, and the folks were closer to the critters...
And you might even say things were better all around...
Everybody's got a laughin' place-- trouble is most folks won't take the time to go look for it...
And where it is for one, mightn't be for another...
You can't run away from trouble-- there ain't no place that far!
Yes sir, things were mighty satisfactual-- and that's the truth.
